I wish my favorite bands were still on tour
And I wish everything wasn’t so complicated

as the markings on the kitchen wall
wish I could gain back the confidence that they created
Lately, things haven’t been the best for me.

I, I never had it all quite figured out
I never really learned what growing up was all about
And I still don’t know
And there are so many things that I wish I could say I’ve done to say that time flies when you’re having fun
